The Culture Committee of Stratfield School's PTA is committed to creating a warm and supportive environment where every family feels seen, heard, and valued. By celebrating the diverse backgrounds within our community, we aim to ensure that all voices are included and respected. Through thoughtful programming and open dialogue, we provide opportunities for families to share their unique traditions and experiences—enriching the school environment for all students.

Our committee collaborates with other Culture Committees across the Fairfield Public Schools to raise awareness and strengthen support for these efforts districtwide. Together, we plan and host events such as International Night, monthly cultural recognitions and bulletin boards, author visits that reflect a range of experiences and perspectives, and celebrations that highlight traditions like Ramadan, Black History Month, and more. Through these efforts, we strive to build a school culture rooted in connection, curiosity, and respect. If you are interested in getting involved or have suggestions on how we can better serve our school community please reach out to Beth Sanderson, Culture Committee VP.
